Spinal Decompression Gives Relief for Back and Neck Pain
Non-surgical spinal decompression is a safe , painless and proven effective treatment for resolving chronic neck and back pain. Most of my patients have tried other services, medications, injections and they just don’t help anymore. The patient is frustrated and their lifestyle is being effected. If Chiropractic treatments aren’t helping them I suggest trying Spinal Decompression.
This treatment is applied by a unique table controlled by a specialized computer system. You are on your back and harnessed firmly to the table. I enter individualized numbers that are unique to you. The disc’s that are the pain source are targeted with gentle, controlled stretching of the spine and decompression of the spinal discs. This breaks the cycle of pain caused by bulging and degenerated discs and other spine related disorders by eliminating nerve compression.
Spinal Decompression therapy is a medical technology that gently stretches the spine and decompresses discs. The injured disc is located and gently pulled, creating a vacuum, which allows the disc to be “ pulled back in,” taking the pressure off the nerve.
The pressure in a spinal disc can be as high as + 180 mm of mercury during many common daily activities. Spinal Decompression Therapy treatment can reduce the pressure in the disc down to -200 mm of mercury, allowing fluids and nutrients to reenter the disc, thus reducing swelling and relieving the pressure on irritated or pinched nerves.
